Planning for 2020 4WD and Adventure Shows!

The world is beginning its return to normal, and organisers of the 4WD and Adventure Shows are optimistic about this year’s events.

Show Director Peter Woods said while he was still waiting on confirmation from the federal government that events will be able to run in the latter half of the year, information he had received to date was extremely positive.

“Events such as the 4WD and Adventure Shows are important to the industry, and are relied upon by many businesses as a way to increase sales and brand awareness. We are doing all we can to ensure the events run as normal in 2020, and are working with all relevant authorities to be able to open safely,” Peter said.

“The Department of Health is issuing guidelines for events companies, and we will adhere to these guidelines entirely. We want to ensure not just that people can come out and have a good time and buy some of the latest gear, but that they arrive and leave in good health.”

“This year certainly has been challenging so far, but we are confident that it won’t be much longer until we can all come outdoors again. Australia is the best place in the world to be right now – and in fact as outdoor enthusiasts, we’d all agree that Australia is always the best place to be!”

“We look forward to getting back out there and exploring!” Peter said.

Planning is still going ahead as for the 4WD and Adventure Shows in Sydney Adelaide and Perth.

The Sydney Show is scheduled for 11-13 September at Sydney Dragway. The Adelaide Show – presented along with the Club Marine SA Boat & Fishing Show, will be held on 23-25 October at Adelaide Showground. The Perth 4WD Show will be held on 6-8 November at McCallum Park.

It has never been more important to encourage Australians to get out and enjoy their country, and this is what the 4WD and Adventure Shows are all about – getting geared up to get out there and explore.

In 2020, Peter said the Shows will be promoting travel and tourism within Australia, adopting the theme of holidaying at home.

“We will focus on smaller towns that need the visitors. We will encourage Australians to get out and explore, and support small businesses.”

“We will have all the latest travel information for each state, the best places to go and things to see – and of course all the gear you need to take with you!” Peter said.

The 4WD and Adventure Shows will be working with some of the biggest names in the industry to present and promote the Shows in each state this year. Graham Cahill, Shaun Whale, Ronny Dahl, Jase Andrews, Pat Callinan – all the characters you watch on a regular basis will come together to share their stories. We are also working with some new faces this year including everyone’s favourite Bondi lifeguard Harries, who will be at all the Shows to talk about his love of the outdoors; and special guest Dani Simpson, whose popularity online is growing as people are following her channel to see her latest adventures.

Tickets will soon be available to buy online for the 2020 4WD and Adventure Shows. For now we encourage you to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates – and we look forward to getting out there later this year!
